2. Scope

These Terms of Service govern the use of the Android mobile application Lawn & Latte: Park Café Tycoon.

By installing or using the App, you agree to these Terms.

3. Description of the App

The App is a free-to-play simulation game.

All core gameplay features can be used without payment.

In-app purchases provide optional convenience features or virtual currencies.

The App is made available as a public release and is developed on an ongoing basis. Updates may include bug fixes, security updates, new content, balancing adjustments, or technical compatibility changes. Modifications are governed by Section 8.

4. Virtual Currencies

The App contains two virtual currencies:

• Coins
• Crystal Beans

Coins may be earned through gameplay or purchased optionally.

Crystal Beans may only be purchased.

Virtual currencies:

• constitute digital content only,
• do not establish ownership rights,
• have no real-world monetary value outside the App,
• cannot be redeemed for real money,
• are non-transferable,
• may not be traded or resold.

No entitlement to permanent availability exists.

The provider reserves the right to modify prices, balancing, usage options, or gameplay values at any time.

Mandatory statutory rights, including consumer rights, remain unaffected.

Changes will be made only to the extent legally permitted and with due regard to legitimate user interests.

5. In-App Purchases

In-app purchases are processed exclusively through Google Play.

By completing a purchase, a contract is formed under the terms and conditions of Google Play.

Digital content is provided immediately after purchase.

Where permitted by law, a statutory right of withdrawal for digital content may expire once performance has begun after the user has expressly consented and acknowledged the loss of the right of withdrawal.

Refunds and cancellations are generally handled in accordance with Google Play policies and procedures. Statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.

In certain regions, Google Play may require age verification or parental approval. If Google Play reports that mandatory age verification is still pending, new in-app purchases and optional rewarded advertisements may remain temporarily unavailable until verification has been completed. Purchase processing and any required parental purchase approvals continue to be handled by Google Play.

6. Minors

Minors and other persons without full legal capacity may make in-app purchases only with the consent of their legal guardians.

7. Advertising

The App contains advertising, including rewarded ads.

Users may voluntarily watch advertisements in exchange for optional in-game benefits.

No entitlement to ad-free availability exists.

Availability of advertisements or rewarded ads is not guaranteed.

8. Beta Version and Changes

The App is currently provided as a beta version.

The provider reserves the right to:

• modify content
• adjust balancing
• change gameplay mechanics
• change prices
• remove features
• discontinue operation of the App

No entitlement exists regarding the preservation of specific game progress, balances, or values.

9. Permitted Use

Users are prohibited from:

• manipulating the game code
• bypassing security or protection mechanisms
• using automated tools or bots
• decompiling or reverse engineering the App
• attempting unauthorized access to systems or services related to the App
• using exploits, cheats, or manipulative gameplay methods

10. Availability

No entitlement to permanent availability exists.

The provider may modify, suspend, or discontinue the App at any time.

11. Liability

The provider shall be liable without limitation in cases of intent, gross negligence, or injury to life, body, or health.

In cases of slight negligence, liability shall be limited to breaches of essential contractual obligations and limited to foreseeable damages typical for the contract.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, any further liability is excluded.

12. Applicable Law

The laws of the Federal Republic of Germany shall apply, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods.

Mandatory consumer protection provisions of the country in which the user resides remain unaffected.

13. Health Notice / Photosensitivity

This game may contain visual effects, animations, flashing elements, or other light stimuli. In a very small number of people, such stimuli may cause dizziness, visual disturbances, muscle twitching, disorientation, loss of consciousness, or epileptic seizures.

If You or anyone in Your family has a known sensitivity to such stimuli or a history of epilepsy, please consult a medical professional before playing. Stop playing immediately if You experience any unusual symptoms while playing.
